"Laura Martell and her team just did a fantastic job selling our East Oakland Hills fixer upper.  After evaluating 6 offers, Laura guided us toward the best one that was cash, no contingencies, a fast and smooth transaction at an excellent price.  It took about 5 weeks from calling Laura to Close of Escrow with money in the bank.  Wow!  It took Laura only 5 days to list it, and 2 open houses on consecutive weekends to sell it.  This was a major achievement as the house still had a lot of stuff in it and needed inspections done. Her mantra is: tell me what you need and I'll get it done.  She has people/services for everything who work on her timetable, is very well connected to other realtors, service people, contractors, investors and other client bases in the larger Bay Area and navigates the landscape very well to her client's benefit.  Laura is able to work in a compassionate, humane way and makes the transaction seem easy and smooth to her clients while ironing out many obstacles and difficulties in the background.  She doesn't beat the drum about this, but I sometimes asked a question about an issue, and she'd brush over it saying it was taken care of.  She is a "can do", no nonsense person who'll give it to you straight.  She has a very efficient staff working for her and manages them well as all interactions were pleasant, smooth and effective.  This in itself is an art.  Everything is done online making it an easy process from a seller's perspective: listing, marketing (including social media marketing and her own newsletter to her client/contractor/investor base), disclosures, contracts.  So hiring Laura engaged the services of a whole team of people who could pull off a sales scenario like this fast and effectively.    Overall I am impressed with Laura's expertise, her teamwork, her connections, her humanity, her sense of humor, can do/no nonsense approach and am grateful to have found her thanks to the wise recommendation of a friend.  Just passing on the favor to you.  Thank you Laura Martell and team.  You are much appreciated and we are grateful!" --Yvonne van Leeuwen, 4/21/23
